Georgie Gibson
ABOUT
Georgie currently works at Staircase Constructions assisting creditors and suppliers by managing accounts payable. She is in charge of payroll, whilst overseeing cost analysis, and assisting staff with financial assessment and administration procedures. Georgie has been helping Laek with accounting and bookwork since the beginning of time, although in actual time when Staircase Constructions was born.
Georgie has undergone study in architecture, myotherapy and remedial massage. She enjoys the design aspects involved in Staircase Constructions with a passion for interior design and all aspects of building. Georgie is presently an allied health practitioner and a sessional trainer/lecturer in remedial massage. She is a practicing Myotherapist and in her time outside of Staircase Constructions treats clients to assist in soft tissue and sports injuries. Subsequent to studying architecture she went on to design and build her family home and has always enjoyed being on site with Laek. She remembers when the business first started and she has assisted installing balustrades and even gluing up a curve staircase. To this day, Georgie enjoys going to site and glimpsing at client’s beautiful homes.
In the future, Georgie hopes to continue to assist in the growth of Staircase Constructions, while improving daily tasks and implementing procedures to help staff. Georgie would love to lecture at university level and hopes to further her study in musculoskeletal health and all facets of the human body. Georgie claims that there is an infinite amount of knowledge surrounding the body and its processes and she is continuously practicing and teaching to keep up-to-date with the latest evidence.
Georgie enjoys a variety of hobbies outside of her working life, including reading, design, travel, snowboarding, mineralogy and gemstone faceting.
If Georgie could attain a superpower it would be the ability to fly. She enjoys a takeaway latte before she begins her day and cannot go past sushi and a miso soup on her lunch break.
